Our team will work as quickly as possible but please be advised a submission does not guarantee that Millennial Married will publish it.
It can sometimes take up to a month for submissions to be published on our site, so we appreciate your patience! We are continually working to make our publishing process faster, and you’ll get an email when your story is up.
You don’t have to. Our editorial team will handle finding an image for your article if selected for publication.
However, if you have a photo which you own and/or that is legal to use that you’d like to suggest to our team, feel free to link it to your article using the file upload form.

How to annoy us?
Submitting articles that are inappropriate or have nothing to do with any of the categories we represent.
We get tons of emails so keep calm. One follow up is cool but 10 not so good.:-(.
Yes you can. Please let this be known in your article title.
Pseudonyms are accepted. Just be mindful that while anonymity can help us feel free it can also make us less accountable and less empathetic to the impact of our actions. So use wisely. Millennial Married is designed to be a safe place to express our truth and sensitive issues.
You make Millennial Married great. Through the power of storytelling, we have the ability to inspire, educate, and empower change that shapes the culture.
Whether it’s your take on parenting? How you handled your first year of marriage? The terrible twos? Your experience with dating in today’s app obsessed world. Money advice for those struggling out there? Got fitness tips, in-law advice, or just want to share how you overcame a tough situation? We’re here for raw and authentic stories that provide a unique voice and a fresh perspective.
One of the most important parts of your blog post. Come up with something that really grabs the reader. If you’re not sure submit 3-4 with your post and we can help you choose one that aligns best. Remember the first and last three words of the headline are the most important. If you put in the effort that equals more clicks, likes, and shares!
Tell the Story:
Bring the reader into your world. Raw and real sparks an emotional connection with the reader and usually works best. Don’t be afraid to push the boundaries and be vulnerable.
Featured images help tell the story. Don’t underestimate the value of a good picture. I mean Instagram is huge right now because of how they tell a story. It can be a personal image, an image you own, or a royalty-free/purchased image etc. As long as you have permission. Violating copyright laws suck for you and us. Recommended image sizes:
1400 by 1066 pixels
1400 by 1727 pixels
983 by 794 pixels
2100 by 1400 pixels**
900 by 846 pixels
Make it shareable. Add in a question or a statement you feel gets the gist of the story so others will want to see it.
The perfect blog doesn’t have a set word count – quality over length. While we are millennials and bite-sized is an option, the impact of the article is of more importance than the length.
With that in mind please make sure to break up your copy with sub-headers to make the post more scannable. If it’s a long post, you use sub-headers that add character and/or entice the reader to keep reading.
Include a brief bio (1-4 sentences) and a photo for your profile. You may also include your social media handle.
